Diana Jeffrey Resigns, Niki Dawson Continues as Acting Executive Director

Diana Jeffrey resigned from the Board of Directors, and her name was taken off the website faster than you can say "Euthasol."  However, there has been no mention of her resignation anywhere including the official LHS facebook page.  I wonder why it's being kept hush hush.

Well, at least they finally spelled Janice Kruk's name right.  She's only been a board member for how many years?

More importantly, Niki Dawson was only asked to come in as a consultant and Interim Executive Director for a temporary 60 day term, which means she would have finish her term on or about October 28th, 2010.  But, at the board meeting held on November 30th, Niki Dawson was introduced as Acting Executive Director!  Now that's a title to be proud of.  I wonder why her new position hasn't been mentioned or posted anywhere either.

And why on earth would she be quoted as only being a "shelter spokeswoman" in a recent Jersey Journal article?  What are you hiding from Niki Dawson?  ...Harry Melendez, I hope you're reading this!

With all these staffing changes, you would think LHS had many employment opportunities available, and were working tirelessly publicizing this information to find the right candidate for the job.  Wrong again.  There were no employment opportunities advertised, not even on their own official website.

But if you happen to be a member of the Good Ol' Boys Club, you're in like Flynn ;)
